Also known as Pistache and Situationsbedingt, Dj Emotion is a talented and creative musician, producer, and DJ based in Winterthur , Switzerland. He is one of the founders of World Wide Web Records and a member of DJ Winti Beste and Filzjugend Music Inc. With a focus on music that grooves and has soul, DJ Emotion has been in the music scene since his early years.
 

Starting to play the guitar at age 10, he formed several bands and projects by 15. His interest in technology led him to discover synthesizers, expanding his musical skills. DJ Emotion's projects are varied, showcasing his wide range of talents, including writing and painting.

In Winterthur, he started "brohemia," a platform for young artists, and worked with local youth groups to develop projects and festivals. Moving to Berlin at 22 was a key moment in his career, where he started many new projects.

Founding World Wide Web Records marked a significant growth phase in his musical journey. The label releases artists such as Formas, Gal, Popshop (aka Martin Akeret), The Nightstalker (Popshop & Dan Piu), Ewan Jansen, and Parallel Action (Scanone aka Jude Greenway). DJ Emotion continues to explore new musical ideas and organize events.
 

Since returning to Winterthur in 2018/2019, he has focused on boosting the local scene while still spending time in Berlin. He organized the "Sexy Times" party series in 2022, bringing renowned artists to Winterthur such as Anah & Lumirère (Cymatix), Walrus, Brasi, Dan Piu, Anil Lal (Furthur Electronix), Kreggo (Art-Aud), and Johanz Westerman, who has been a mentor to DJ Emotion. 

His first album, released on the "Ouroboros PhD" label in 2022, was the first release on the imprint and was available as a limited edition of dubplates as well as digitally. The album, featuring 14 tracks and 2 bonus tracks, represents years of dedicated studio work. It was polished by Mr. Westerman at Ballyhood Studio.
 

DJ Emotion's drive to explore new musical paths and support local talent continues to push his career forward. He is currently working on his live set to perform more hardware live sets in the near future.
