Eliazar
Audiovisual Artist, Producer, and DJ Tech House - Minimal - House,
also known as Vj Noba, Eliazar is an audiovisual artist, producer, and DJ based in Berlin, originally hailing from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Renowned for his innovative techniques in video jockeying (VJ) and sound, he crafts immersive and experimental concert experiences for his audience.
Since 2003, Eliazar has graced the stages of prestigious festivals such as MUTEK, LPM MX, LPM Italy, INTERFACE Mexico Puebla, and Flying Circus in the Mexican Caribbean. He played a pivotal role at Berlin's iconic Katerholzig until its closure and subsequent transformation into Katerblau.
In 2015, Eliazar founded Default Machine, a record label dedicated to releasing a diverse range of electronic music styles, including house, deep house, minimal, and downtempo. Through Default Machine, he actively supports and promotes a vibrant electronic music scene.
In 2020, he launched Hijos del Agua, a live project blending experimental dub and rock with visuals, in collaboration with Oscar Rocha. They are currently working on a new album set to release in 2024.
Eliazar also hosts a radio show on RTS.FM, where he collaborates with Cem Orlow at Café at Marla and Marla Records, further showcasing his eclectic musical taste.
Eliazar's legacy in Berlin’s elite club scene, including venues like Katerblau, Chalet, Golden Gate, Sisyphos, and Renate, remains strong, with his sets celebrated for their experimental flair and urban edge, delivering a distinctive and euphoric musical journey.
