GLIA, a Berlin-based DJ originally from Slovenia, has become a key player in the Balkan underground electronic scene. Her journey with Sonus Festival began three years ago, where a chance connection led to her first performance. Since then, she has grown with the festival, moving to larger stages each year. GLIA embraces Sonus’ support of local artists and highlights the importance of representing female talent in an industry long dominated by men. Playing alongside international names, she feels a strong connection to her roots and values the platform Sonus provides for regional DJs to shine globally.

We’re super excited to announce PHD Bookings’ first showcase at the unique Backsteinboot on September 14th! This isn’t just another event—it’s a chance to come together, enjoy great music, and connect with the community.
Seven amazing artists will be hitting the stage, each bringing their own style. You can expect everything from hypnotic Detroit-inspired beats to deep, dreamy vibes, and a mix of old-school and new-school sounds. There’ll be groovy house and techno, trippy rhythms, electro, and even a touch of the UK rave scene.
Adding to the experience, we have Andreea and Mauricio with their immersive installations that blend technology and emotion. Plus, Rodrigo and Torsten will be delighting us with their trippy projections, creating a visual journey to match the music.
